A whoooole bunch of fics

I am so sorry, people who follow my fic from over here. I completely fell off on posting when I posted fic. But there's been, um, a lot? I got a blackout on my Trope Bingo card. And have written a few fics since. So under the cut I'm going to make a brief-ish list (titles, fandoms/pairings, maybe a little more info) of all the fics I've posted since "A Council of Queens."

Hopefully you find things in there that you enjoy, and I'll try not to go so long without updating again!

A Council of Queens

Title: A Council of Queens
Wordcount: ~3300
Warnings: Arthur's death and the grief from it are a theme throughout, and the fic also glances over other character death, as well as past mind control in the form of Vivian's love spell.
Summary: Mithian returns to Camelot to work towards Albion's future, and finds herself working through her own and others' complicated history with Camelot.
A/N: I have had this fic in mind pretty much since canon closed, and I am relieved I finally got it written! It is for the "futurefic" square on my Trope Bingo card.
Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin.

You can read the fic on the AO3.

License to Thrill

Title: License to Thrill
Wordcount: ~14,000
Warning: brief violence
Summary: Merlin's employees bet him the recipe for the most addictive cocoa in the world that he can't find out what the hot blond who comes into his chocolate shop does for a living within the month. He ends up getting far more than he bargained for.
A/N: Written for this prompt on the meme for summerpornathon's Charity Bonus Challenge (though it somehow ended up not having porn), and for the "bets/wagers" square on my Trope Bingo card. The title is from "I Wish I Was James Bond" by Scouting for Girls.
Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin.

You can read this fic on the AO3.

Links to a bunch of fics from this summer

Well, summerpornathon is over, which means it's time to link what I wrote for it over here!

This is the series on the AO3, all seven entries and one entry I wrote for the first week but didn't end up submitting. Pairing list is as follows: Gwen/Merlin (with past Arthur/Gwen/Merlin), Nimueh/Ygraine, Arthur/Elena, Arthur/Merlin, Freya/Sefa, Elena/Mithian, Nimueh/Uther/Ygraine, and Arthur/Merlin with significant amounts of Morgana.

Truth or Dare, an Arthur/Merlin modern AU, 1800 words, written for one of the bonus challenges.

Temptation, a Hunith/Will modern AU, about 1k, also written for one of the bonus challenges.

And for anyone who is curious, as a result of all these fics, this is how my Trope Bingo card is going.

Merlin Fic: These Are The Voyages

Title: These Are The Voyages
Wordcount: ~11,500
Summary: The Avalon isn’t the Starfleet flagship, or really anything close to it. It isn’t large, or prestigious, or even particularly new. It’s not anything, really, except for Mithian’s first command, and Mithian loves it. Or, the AU where all the Merlin ladies (and George) are the senior staff of a Starfleet ship.
A/N: There are some notes about all the Trek things (but I hope it is accessible to those who just want a space AU!) over at the fic, but they are a little wordy, so I won't repost them all here.
Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin.

I'm young for a captain.

The Sun Hasn't Died

Title: The Sun Hasn't Died
Wordcount: ~10,800
Warnings: past character death, mentions of violence and rioting and other consequences of the apocalypse
Summary: You have to figure out how to survive somehow, after the world ends. Elena does it by stealing horses and roaming, at least until she finds the village of Camelot and its residents, especially its librarian.
A/N: Written for the free space on my Trope Bingo card and because Emjayelle prompted an Elena/Mithian apocalypse AU on tumblr. I restrained myself from putting novels worth of backstory and minor character interaction into this, you should be grateful. Title from "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons.
Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin.

Read it over on the AO3: ... if there's nobody around to appreciate her cleverness, well. Elena always did better on her own anyway.

How Much a Heart Can Hold

Title: How Much a Heart Can Hold
Wordcount: ~2,400
Summary: The problem with having two boyfriends is Valentine's Day.
A/N: Written for the "holiday" square on my trope bingo card (you may think from looking at it that I intend to do the top line. If I ever come up with something good for "au: steampunk" that may even be true).
Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin.

The Space Between the Threads

Title: The Space Between the Threads
Wordcount: ~1700
Warnings/Enticements: crossdressing (for charity but also implied for pleasure), strong hints of D/s, very unresolved UST
Summary: It would have been nice of Arthur to warn Gwaine that his sister is coming to stay. Especially before he offered his guest room for Gwaine to change in before the charity event they're doing.
A/N: Written for the "crossdressing" square on my Trope Bingo card. This isn't rated because it's the closest you can get to a PWP without actually having any porn involved. The title is from a quote by Lori Howe: "Lace is as much about the space between the threads as it is about the threads themselves."
Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin.

A Statue Strong Enough for Two

Title A Statue Strong Enough for Two
Wordcount: ~39,000
Summary: Elena is a street-level superhero--she's never been one of the ones who wanted glory. Now, though, a visit from an old enemy forces her to step up and see what she might have to do with the Sidhe who invaded and were sent away twenty years ago. Luckily, she has fellow superheroes, especially the Huntress, to back her up, and a new girlfriend in her regular life to make things feel more normal. (Though nothing, of course, can ever be normal when you've got a secret identity.)
Warnings: this being a superhero story, there is some violence and minor character death, including one brief scene where a character deliberately injures herself in the course of fighting evil, and another where two characters who are friendly spar and come out with some bruises. None of the above is very explicit, but do be warned that it is present.
A/N: Written for this prompt on the meme. The title is from Ian Axel's "This is the New Year."
Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin.

Because of the length, I'm not reposting the full text here, so you can find it all on the AO3, right here.

A Lot Like Life

Title: A Lot Like Life
Wordcount: ~2,200
Warnings: slavery, bondage (of a sort), some light breathplay, and the dub-con inherent in the situation even though consent is obtained (and enthusiastic)
Summary: During treaty negotiations, the High Priestesses give Morgana an unorthodox gift, and he is more than he appears at first glance.
A/N: This has been languishing half-finished in my documents folder since ... the slavefic round of Kinkspiration, I think? So I was very glad when my "slavefic" square for Trope Bingo came up. This is set in an ambiguous AU where Uther stopped the Purge after a few years and has been trying to make treaties ever since. Title from Depeche Mode's "Master and Servant" because I could not resist.
Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin.
